There’s something special when using a challenging material to create landscapes. I use wet felting techniques to blend colours and to build depth within each image. Needle felting is used to add definition and detail. Each landscape is conjured from the Pennies, Dales and my adventures around England’s coast.
Born and bred in the heart of West Yorkshire, home of textile production for hundreds of years. I am delighted to be using a product close to my heart and heritage, to create images of the coast and countryside of Yorkshire.
I work primarily from first hand experience but have also accepted commissions from around the country.
